ABOUT ME
KATIE LOWE
I'm a ex-pastry chef that has worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 10 years. Working for myself has always been my passion and something I've always wanted to pursue.
I thoroughly enjoy baking and fortunately for me aren't a sweet tooth. I always hope my sausage rolls sell out otherwise, they would be my go to!
WHAT I DO
CAKES: I do classic Celebration Cakes for many different occasions. I am unable to do themed cakes at this moment in time so if you're after a cake that looks like an animal or train, I'm not your baker...

STALLS: I have a monthly market at Sheriff Hutton and also sell cakes and bakes at Car-boots such as Woodfield on a Saturday and Wigginton on a Sunday most weekends.
I also do wonderful yearly markets at Alne Street Fair and Haxby Carnival - keep a look out for these as they are a lovely day out with the family!
TRAYBAKES: Brownies to your door! Whether its for a loved one or for yourself, I offer brownies in either a 6-piece set or a slab (the size of 8 pieces), please see here for flavours and prices - my most popular is Kinder.
THE DREAM
The near future dream would be to have a Horse-box conversion and serve my cakes and bakes alongside the best coffee and hot chocolate to my wonderful customers!
THE FAVOURITES
White Chocolate & Raspberry Victoria is most definitely my most popular flavour with my customers. It flies out on stalls and is ordered for most wedding cakes.
My favourite cake would have to be my carrot cake. No messing about, just a good old classic carrot cake with a delicious cream cheese frosting.
I just love a vegetable cake! Carrot, parsnip, beetroot, you name it.
